The latest on the whole crew
Evan made the switch from formula to cows’ milk this week and is doing great. We have a fabulous dairy out here (Oberweis that delivers milk (and recently added Coca Cola products) so I am excited to start the home delivery.
Evan loves the bath time, especially now since he has the entire bathtub to play in and not the baby bathtub!
I have posted some new photos taken over the last few days. His latest “trick” is to look around things to see you. Whether it is a car seat, a napkin, or a camera…there is no hiding from this one.
Evan decided he needed to dress more VPish today when he showed up to help me this morning. I have to say – he looked pretty darn cute. He is gesturing that I need to work 5 hours today…and only 5 hours today so I can play with him later. Ok – I better do what the VP wants.
Evan has graduated from his baby bathtub to taking a bath in the entire bathtub. Of course all he wants to do is stand up, touch the faucet, crawl in the water, touch the soap dish, play with anything in reach, then crawl around some more. He loves all the space – and you cannot turn your back for a second. Bath time is a new adventure, once again.
Evan enjoyed his first Thanksgiving with Amy, me, and the Rominskis. We had a lot of good food and Evan liked everything except the cranberry sauce. Here are a few pictures from the big day (which is now Evan’s favorite holiday).
We have posted some new pictures that were taken over the last few weeks. He is getting so big and we decided we needed to add some new pictures to the web site. About the Dallas Cowboy pictures – our friend Josh is a big Cowboys fan and is trying to get Evan to be a Cowboys fan. Until our (Chicago) coach is gone, I am fine with new football team options. (I need to do a better job getting him into the Broncos.) Check out the latest photos.
It is unbelievable how many people say Evan looks like me (Jen). I went to the vet this weekend with Salsa and Triscuit and our vet asked to see some pictures of Evan (we have been going to her for almost 9 years) so I showed her the Halloween pictures in his costume. She kept telling me how much she thought he looked like me. This is not uncommon at all – anytime we are all together people say he has Amy’s eyes, but my general look. I guess we picked well!
A few weeks ago, we went to a Greyhound event with some of our two legged and four legged friends. They just sent us some pictures and I chose two to share – one of Evan and one of Triscuit. Evan had a good time watching all the dogs and needless to say, by the end of the day, he was exhausted.
Evan has been keeping us busy over the last few weeks! He has all kinds of new tricks. He really enjoys pulling himself up on whatever he can (toys, couches, tables, etc) and likes to now throw things. He also gets a big kick out of snorting (video to come soon) and he absolutely loves balloons. I have included a few pictures from our babysitter who took these in the last two weeks.
