The latest on the whole crew
The kids all love helping in the garden. Evan enjoys wearing his gardening gloves and digging. Cora loved planting the seeds. Will just loves being in the garden. We planted half the garden a few weeks ago with heartier plants: carrots, lettuce, peas, and some peppers. We look forward to another successful garden like last year!
Evan has really got creative lately. Not only does he enjoy playing Angry Birds on the iPad, he also love so to play “outside the iPad” as well. He finds things he can use to build levels and then brings in his stuffed animals to act as pigs that he, with his stuffed animal Angry Birds needs to knock over (just like the iPad game). This is Evan with one of his set ups.
With three kids – we often find ourselves asking one of them to find another, see what they are doing, or to get something from one of them. Here Cora decided to supervise her big brother while he was on the computer.
Will decided that today he wanted to practice his map drawing skills. He was so serious (and cute) – I am glad we got this great shot.
Evan is ready for anything. Goggles, toothbrush, plenty of fluid, remotes, and a sandwich. Look out!
The twins got the shopping cart for their first birthday and absolutely love it. They are constantly in it, pushing each other in it, or filling it up with toys.
Most nights the twins look forward to their milk and a cartoon in our room. Evan decided to join in to make sure he was not missing out on anything exciting.
Evan has been in the water since he was only a few months old. Our weekly trip to the YMCA or the Olympic Center for swimming lessons has paid off. He loves the water, is comfortable in the water, and has just about mastered both his front and back floats – along with his amazing under water swimming too.
Even though there are five of us – our weekdays and weekends are always busy. After a long day – sometimes this happens…and of course Cora is holding on to her big brother’s hand.
Even the cold does not stop these kids from enjoying a fun day in the back yard.
