Easter Fun

Posted by: jzelazny | 0 Comments

Evan really enjoyed Easter this year. He saw the Easter Bunny, colored eggs, had an easter egg hunt and got some awesome candy and presents. We then had some friends over for Easter dinner and Evan had a great time with everyone. Check out more Easter photos.

Large Bunny is Too Un-Natural for Will

Like usual we headed over to Abt to see the Easter Bunny. This year poor Will was not too excited about the Bunny. We sat Evan next to the Bunny and had hopes of him holding on to the twins to get a quick photo, but instead Evan was distracted by something and as soon as we put Will down – he started crying hysterically. In order not to take a lot of time and to keep the line moving, Amy jumped in, grabbed Will and I tried to get everyone to look at me. Like usual – Amy was the only one listening.

Trip to Florida

We went to Florida the week before Christmas so Evan could experience Christmas morning/day here at his house. He always enjoys traveling and much like his Mama – loves the airport. On the way down the flight captain even let Evan go into the cockpit, look around, and ask questions. They even let him say something over the intercom.

We all had a great time and Evan was excited to see everyone, play outside, and even sit in a big tractor trailer rig (neighbor’s). I think with all of that – the most exciting part of the trip for Evan was seeing Cora after being away from her for a few days. As soon as he got out of the car Cora’s eyes lit up and she instantly started screaming in joy. This continued for several minutes after we all got inside.

This year we decided to head down to Florida before Christmas so we could still visit with our family around the holidays, but still be back home for the big day. We had a really great time and enjoyed the warmer weather (and the company of course). In addition to seeing their grandparents and great-grandparents, we also saw some cousins as well (Celia just turned one and it was the first time we met her). As you can see from the photo – the rules are a little different at Grandma’s house. For more photos – check out the photos page.

Trip to Abt

Each year we go to Abt Electronics (local store) to see Santa. We found this was generally a lot less stressful than a trip to Woodfield and everyone gets those great fresh chocolate chip cookies. Here are some shots of the action.

Halloween

This year Cora dressed up as a Penn State cheerleader and Will as the Penn State Nittany Lion (a costume I have waited 25+ years to buy and was super excited about). They had a good time visiting Amy at school and hanging out in the stroller while their big brother went around the neighborhood getting candy.

We had someone come over to take some pictures of the kids all dressed up in their Penn State gear. Check out the photos to see the kids in action.

Penn State Evan

For Halloween we decided to have Cora dress up as a Penn State cheerleader while Will was the Nittany Lion mascot. Since we had two of the three kids in Penn State gear we decided to put Evan’s Penn State jersey on him and have a photographer come in and take some shots. These are just a few of the Evan outtakes.
