The latest on the whole crew
After getting more than a few photos posted I realized I would need some sort of album/gallery option for the photos section. I decided to go with something that would be easy for Amy and I to use as well as something that looked nice. Take a look at the new photos section.
We finally got the nursery furniture delivered today and it looks great. The delivery and assemblers showed Amy how to adjust the crib height so she could “show her husband” – which we got a laugh out from, but other than that we are very happy with everything. The crib is a “convertible” as it converts to a full bed when Evan is ready for a big boy bed.I have posted a few more pictures of the furniture in the photos section. Now it is time to possibly re-arrange and actually start putting items into the dressers.
We purchased our nursery furniture back in August and finally today, I got a delivery date. We will have our nursery completed – with furniture – on October 28th. I am sure Amy can find a link to the set we got so everyone can have a sneak preview.
It is now week nineteen and after waiting for what seems to be an eternity, Amy finally felt some fluttering in her tummy…the first kicks!
We finally had some luck today and ended up purchasing our nursery furniture. We should have it by October 15th and as soon as it is put in the room, we will send pictures. Of course, we paid for assembly. Our last IKEA purchase was enough to last us for a few months.
It is now week twenty and we just found out we are having a boy! I could not go to the appointment with Amy today, but our good friend Susan went for support and they celebrated by going to Portillos…and Susan celebrated by having a goblet of beer.
It is now week eighteen and we are off to NY for my family reunion and for a baby shower thrown by my mother. We received many wonderful gifts and saw some great friends we have not seen in a long time. (Not to mention Amy got to meet almost every teacher I ever had in school). Thanks mom.
It is now week eleven and today at the doctor’s appointment we saw arms and legs, and even a little kick ;)!
We began telling close friends and family the good news. Amy is pregnant!
It is now week eight and we saw the heartbeat during the ultrasound. The heart eas beating at 160bpm.
