Easter Fun

img_3526 Evan had a fun Easter this year. Denise took him and the twins to see the Easter bunny the week before Easter and then on Easter day we went over to Phil and Ginny’s house for an easter egg hunt, food, and of course fun presents. Check out the new photos of Evan and his Easter fun.

The highlights this year were the sweet rifle the Easter Bunny brought him and the umbrella that Denise bought for him – and of course all the other presents and candy! Thanks to everyone who helped make this a super fun Easter!

Weekend Fall Fun

Evat at the Petting ZooEvan had an exciting weekend last week which included a trip to Didier Farms and to Long Grove’s annual Apple Fest. Evan went to his first petting zoo, had his first taste of cotton candy, and played with some of his friends on Saturday at Didier Farms. On Sunday, we went to Long Gove with Ginny and enjoyed some good food, interesting stores (not so much for Jen), and Evan’s first pony ride which he absolutely loved. During the pony ride he said “wee” and “fun” as everyone went around in circles. I have posted some new photos of the fun event as well.

Evan’s First Luau

Evan went to his first luau on Sunday (his friend Ginny’s 30th birthday party). Evan enjoyed the food, wondering from one group of people to the next, the drink umbrellas (he likes to say umbrella), and playing in his makeshift pool – a tupperware storage container. Evan enjoyed the cardboard cutout of the people for pictures (what he is with in the picture) – but mostly liked knocking it over and then crawling on the cardboard.

evan’s first haircut.

Haircut

Evan had his first haircut last weekend. On Saturday we went to a friend who cuts hair in Des Plaines and had her cut Evan’s hair. He loved the cape (or whatever it is called) that he got to wear, especially when he figured out where the velcro was 😉 He was looking and moving all over, but in the end his hair looks great and he have a few locks for the scrapbook. Thanks Ginny for taking time out to cut his hair!
