Was it the new room, the new noises, the abundance of food, or is this how you were in the hospital nursery at night and we did not know it? Amy and I put Evan to bed last night around 10pm in hopes that a quick diaper change and feed would be all he needed to sleep well. After laying in his big boy crib for five minutes, he started screaming. Amy picked him up and took him in the livingroom and got him to sleep for a few hours, but then the screaming started again. Amy and I tried everything, but it took my mother being here – with her patience and a warm burp cloth – to finally calm him down. I just hope that tonight goes better. 😉

So, Evan is a obviously going to be a little guy who likes to be up late at night, hence the reason he decided to begin entering the world at about 12 am. This will be good, he’ll fit right in with all the other “pool sharks” I hang out with! 🙂

Ahhhhh……well that brings back some memories. Long tiredsome nights. You are very lucky to have Grandma there to help. Try to keep the “little guy” up during the day, that seems to work. When will you be bringing him home to visit us Jersey folk? Please make sure I’m on the list of rounds, I would love to see him in person. You did a great job, he’s beautiful!!

Ah yeah, the late-night yelling! Always fun. The Dr. said yesterday that the best way to get Nick to sleep throught the night is to let him cry. Oh yeah…that’ll be easy to ignore! Planning on coming out in Jan., so I’ll see you then! Congrats again!

Get used to it… My daughter Morganne, who is now 11, still wakes up at 4:00 am almost every night… I am still a walking zombie without enough sleep to function… BUT, wouldn’t have traded it for anything…
Congrats to both of you … (does Vickey ever let either one of you hold the baby?? lol)
